Three days of music, creativity, community and fun

Well, that’s a wrap.

Wrexham Ffair 2026 has come to an end — and we’re still taking it all in.

Across three days, people came together across Eagles Meadow and surrounding community spaces for music, creativity, workshops, conversations, food, performances, family activities and plenty of opportunities simply to spend time together.

The Ffair brought together an extraordinary mix of people, organisations, performers, artists, community groups and local projects.

And now comes the slightly less glamorous bit…

going through all the photographs and video!

We’ve got a lot to go through

Over the three days we gathered a huge amount of photographs, short video clips and other media.

There’s music.

There are performances.

There are workshops.

There are people making things.

There are people meeting one another.

There are children getting involved.

There are moments of laughter.

And there are plenty of things that we simply didn’t have time to capture properly at the time.

So we’re going to take our time going through it all.

Rather than trying to put everything out at once, we’ll be sharing some of it over the coming weeks — giving individual moments, performers, activities and people the space they deserve.

But while we’re working through everything, we thought we’d share a few early edits from across the three days.

A small glimpse of the Ffair

These ten photographs are only a tiny snapshot of what happened.

They don’t tell the whole story.

And that’s rather the point.

A community event isn’t really one story.

It’s hundreds of little stories happening at the same time.

Someone discovering a new musician.

Someone having a go at something they’ve never tried before.

Children making things.

People sitting down and talking.

Someone stopping because they heard music.

Someone meeting somebody they hadn’t met before.

A performer getting up on stage.

A workshop bringing people together.

A family simply having a good day out.

All of those things were part of Wrexham Ffair.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Ffair happen.

To the artists and performers.

To the organisations and community groups who took part.

To the workshop leaders and facilitators.

To the volunteers.

To the people who helped organise and set things up.

To everyone who brought something to the programme.

And, most importantly, to everyone who came along.

Whether you came for a particular performer, brought the family, joined a workshop, took part in an activity, met friends, discovered something new — or simply wandered in to see what was happening — thank you for being part of it.

The Ffair was always intended to be something people could simply enjoy.

You didn’t need to arrive with a particular agenda.

You could come for the music.

Come to make something.

Come to meet people.

Come because you were curious.

Or just come and have a good time.

There’s more to come

This isn’t our full look back at Wrexham Ffair.

Far from it.

We’ve got much more media to work through, and over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more of the people, performances, activities and moments that made the three days what they were.

We’ll also be taking some time to think about what we learned from the Ffair — and what it tells us about our community.

But for now, we’ll leave you with these first ten photographs.
