Three days of music, creativity, community and fun in the heart of Wrexham

17–19 September 2026 | Eagles Meadow and surrounding community spaces

Something special is taking shape in the heart of Wrexham.

This September, TCC and our partners are bringing people together for three days of music, creativity, conversation, food, family activities and community.

Whether you come for the music, bring the family, take part in a workshop, discover something new, meet local organisations—or simply come along to enjoy yourself—there will be plenty to see and do.

The event is being developed as part of TCC’s wider Belonging in Our Community work, but this isn’t about telling people what they should think.

It’s about creating a space where people can simply come together, have fun and experience community.

🎶 Music and performance

Music will be at the heart of the weekend, alongside spoken word, performance and other creative activities.

Across the three days there will be opportunities to hear local artists, performers and community groups, with further programme details being announced as arrangements are confirmed.

🎨 Make, create and take part

There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved rather than simply watch.

Provisional activities include:

• Community bunting and creative workshops
• Sewing and craft activities
• Creative writing
• Spoken word
• Storytelling and reading
• Family activities
• Community workshops
• Open house and drop-in activities

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Something for everyone

The aim is simple: make it a great few days out.

You might come for a particular activity and stay for the music.

You might come to see what is happening.

You might discover a community organisation you’ve never encountered before.

Or you might just fancy spending some time somewhere lively, welcoming and different.

🌍 A community that reflects Wrexham

Wrexham is home to people with many different backgrounds, cultures, experiences and traditions.

We don’t need to make that complicated.

Bring together good music, good food, creativity, conversation and people who want to enjoy themselves—and something rather wonderful can happen naturally.

You may not even notice that you’re part of a multicultural event.

You’ll simply be having a good time with your community.

That’s the spirit behind Belonging in Our Community.

The programme is still developing, so some activities, performers and timings remain provisional. We’ll be adding more information as arrangements are confirmed.
