TCC Nominated for Welsh Charity Awards 2026

Welsh Charity Award Nominee

Together Creating Communities (TCC) is delighted to announce that we have been nominated for the Welsh Charity Awards 2026 in the category of Most Influential Small Organisation.

Organised by the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), the Welsh Charity Awards celebrate the remarkable contribution made by charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and volunteers across Wales. The awards recognise those making a positive difference in people’s lives and provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the voluntary sector.

The Most Influential Small Organisation award recognises organisations with an annual income of under £250,000 that are making an exceptional impact. The award celebrates organisations that are influencing policy or practice, creating meaningful change through innovation and collaboration, and ensuring lived experience shapes the work they do.

Receiving this nomination is a significant milestone for TCC and reflects the dedication of our staff, trustees, volunteers, partners and the communities we work alongside every day.

Over the past year, TCC has supported a wide range of community-led campaigns and initiatives across North Wales. From helping communities influence decisions through our Accountability Sessions, to launching the Mental Health Voices Collaboration, supporting youth organising, campaigning for greater accessibility, tackling poverty, raising awareness of ARFID, and developing new work around community belonging and cohesion, our focus has remained the same: empowering people to organise around the issues that matter most to them.

This nomination is also a testament to the strength of our partnerships. We know that lasting change is achieved by working together, listening to lived experience, and creating opportunities for communities to influence the decisions that affect their lives.

The Welsh Charity Awards ceremony will take place on 15 October 2026 at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff, where organisations and individuals from across Wales will come together to celebrate the achievements of the voluntary sector.

Whatever the outcome, being nominated is an honour in itself. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to our work, supported our campaigns, volunteered their time, partnered with us, or shared their experiences to help create positive change.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to continuing our work with communities across Wales. Find out more about the Welsh Charity Awards on the WCVA website.
