Event Details

  • Friday 3rd July 2026
  • 10:00am – 2:00pm
  • St Mark’s Church, Bryneglwys Road, Wrexham, LL13 9LA

Why This Matters

Across Wrexham, people have been speaking openly about the realities of poverty and the rising cost of living and what needs to change.

This Assembly is where those voices come together with organisations and leaders to:

  • Reflect on what we’ve heard
  • Share what we’ve learned
  • Shape what happens next

It’s not just a conversation—it’s a chance to influence real local action.

What’s Happening on the Day

Expect an interactive, collaborative event with opportunities to:

  • Hear from the lived experience of those affected by poverty and the cost of living
  • Share ideas and learning from across projects
  • Connect with partners and decision-makers
  • Help shape solutions and next steps

We’ll also be launching the WPAC Lived Experience Manifesto—a key milestone capturing community priorities for change.

Who’s Involved

The Assembly brings together:

  • Local community members
  • Partner organisations and groups
  • Decision-makers and service providers

Organisations involved in the Captured Lived Experience Grant programme are playing a key role in shaping and contributing to the day.

Supporting Participation

We want to make it as easy as possible for people to take part. To support this:

  • Community participants can receive a financial incentive
  • Transport costs can be covered where needed

Be Part of It

This Assembly is a key moment in Wrexham’s shared effort to tackle poverty—bringing ideas, voices, and action together in one space.
