
WHAT IS THE WREXHAM POVERTY ACTION COLLABORATION (WPAC)
WPAC is a collaboration of Together Creating Communities (TCC), Citizens Advice Wrexham and Wrexham Foodbank.
Funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation it’s aim is to influence key power holders to create meaningful change and ask for:
- The creation of a tackling poverty strategy with lived experience at its core and a portfolio for financial injustice and crisis.
- Influence over the financial justice strategy and crisis support
Better informed funding allocation and spending using data insights from organisations supporting lived experiences.


What is the Financial Justice Working Group (FJWG)?
The Financial Justice Working Group is a coalition of organisations and community groups to work together to understand and address the financial challenges faced by individuals who have lived experience of poverty in Wrexham. The group will gather information that feeds into WPAC
- Member groups and project co-ordinator to gather and document lived experiences
- Identify financial barriers and challenges that communities in Wrexham are facing.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve financial justice in Wrexham
- Advocate for policy changes at both local and national levels.
Strengthen community engagement and support networks.
