We are pleased to announce the availability of the Capturing Lived Experience Grants, funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales, through the Wrexham Poverty Action Collaboration (WPAC). This collaboration includes TCC (Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru/Together Creating Communities), Citizens Advice Wrexham, and Wrexham Foodbank as a steering group, along with fourteen (and counting!) local groups and organisations from Wrexham. Our aim is to influence local decision-makers to develop a comprehensive Tackling Poverty Strategy for Wrexham, which will also include the creation of an active portfolio for financial justice and crisis support.
Our goal is to place the lived experiences of those affected by poverty at the heart of a Tackling Poverty Strategy and the Public Services Board’s Wellbeing Plan. We are looking to partner with 12 voluntary and community sector groups to explore and share these lived experiences.
