Paul Williams

Paul grew up in Wrexham and spent 15 years in senior leadership and director roles in the private sector, including time living in Edinburgh and London. During this time, he developed strategic, operational, and people-centred skills that now support his work in the third sector.

He holds two Master’s degrees, one in Psychology and another in Medical Law and Ethics, giving him a strong foundation for understanding how systems impact people’s lives, how policy affects rights and access, and how to champion those whose voices often go unheard. Paul currently leads the Changing Minds Project at Conwy Mind, which focuses on community-led approaches to reduce stigma around mental health through early intervention and making support more accessible.

He brings to TCC a blend of corporate experience, academic insight, and practical leadership. Paul is especially interested in how community organising can influence structural change, and how local stories and action can shape national policy and accountability.

Now based on the North Wales coast, Paul enjoys running, spending time with his partner and their Jack Russell, and holds a season ticket at Wrexham AFC.
