A Night of Insight and Inspiration: Q&A with Matt Hildreth at Wrexham University

On March 28th, TCC had the pleasure of hosting a truly enlightening Q&A session with Matt Hildreth, Executive Director of RuralOrganizing and RuralProgress, at the Creative Industries Building, Wrexham University.
Matt brought a wealth of experience and passion to the conversation, drawing on nearly two decades of work in civic engagement, migration, and social cohesion. His leadership has helped mobilize a nationwide network of over 600,000 advocates and civic leaders in small towns and rural communities—successfully pushing for over $1 billion in new economic prosperity programs for disadvantaged areas.
Attendees were captivated by Matt’s insights into how digital technologies can be harnessed to drive meaningful change, and how communities can come together to challenge white nationalism and promote inclusive values both online and offline.
We’re incredibly grateful to Matt for sharing his time and expertise, and to everyone who joined us for this powerful evening of dialogue and learning.
If you’d like to hear about future events like this, feel free to get in touch or keep an eye on our updates. Let’s keep building momentum for justice and equity in our communities.
