Trinco/Eurocare had been given planning permission several years prior to TCC being set up but local TCC members were concerned at the revival of the plan to burn clinical waste near homes and food factories. TCC negotiated with the company and succeeded in ensuring that the factory set up met future rather than present regulations and this resulted in £500,000 of equipment being installed in the plant.
