Increasing Police Presence to Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour

The TCC group at St. Christopher’s School identified Llay Skate Park as an issue they would like to work on.

Concerned about the anti-social behaviour and drug use at the park, they wanted to improve things for themselves and other young people. After lots of research, community organising training and preparing a presentation, the group met with PCSO Phil Peters to voice their concerns, ask their questions and put forward their request.

It was a success! The group presented a fantastic pitch, explaining their concerns and requested the PCSO agree to check on the skate park twice a day. The PCSO was impressed with the display and agreed to the group’s request! A fantastic outcome for the end of term.
